Welcome to the Sherman County Fair

Moro, Oregon | Late August Every Year

Nestled in the heart of Oregon’s wheat country, the Sherman County Fair is a celebration of community, agriculture, and small-town pride. Held annually in late August in Moro, Oregon, our fair brings together local families, neighbors from nearby towns, and visitors who appreciate the charm of rural life.

A Community Tradition

For generations, our fair has been a place where Sherman County gathers to showcase what makes our corner of the state so special. We may be small, but our hearts—and our celebrations—are big. From 4-H exhibits to farm-fresh produce, homegrown talent to homemade pies, the fair is a reflection of the people who live here.

Fair Highlights

  • Rodeo Action – Experience the thrill of traditional rodeo events with local cowboys and cowgirls.
  • Demolition Derby – Loud, muddy, and always a crowd favorite!
  • Live Entertainment – Enjoy music, performances, and family-friendly fun.
  • Quality Vendors – Shop local crafts, goods, and delicious food from regional vendors.
  • Exhibits & Contests – Celebrate the best in baking, gardening, livestock, and more.

Why We Celebrate

Sherman County takes pride in our wheat fields, wind energy, and hometown heritage. The fair is our way of honoring that legacy—and sharing it with others. Whether you’re from across the county or just down the road, you’re always welcome at the Sherman County Fair.
