Learn more about Ellery’s background, achievements, and love for fair traditions in her full bio below.
Hello Sherman County Fair Goers! I’m Ellery Bish, the 2025 Sherman Fair Queen. I’ve lived just outside of Wasco, OR, on a wheat farm for my whole 17 years of life. I’m an upcoming senior at Sherman County High School, much to my family’s horror.
With my mother being a fair queen and princess at Chief Joseph Days, my father being an active Sherman County community member, and my brother’s involvement in 4-H and FFA, I’ve always been encouraged to participate in community activities. Because of this, I’ve been a member of the tennis team for 3 years, a 4-H Junior leader for 3 years, a swine club member for 8 years, 2 year National Honor Society President, and now, the Sherman County Fair Queen.
I’m thrilled to represent our close-knit community and spread our western way of life. I’m so excited for you all to join me at the Sherman County Fair August 20-23, 2025!
