Who can enter?
Basically anyone. One must be a resident of the United States. Some special contests are only available to Sherman Co. residents.
When are entries due by?
All static exhibit open class entries open at 11 a.m. and are due by 6 p.m. on Wednesday of the Fair. Bring your items to the Sherman County Fairgrounds at 66147 Lonerock Road in Moro, Oregon.
Baked goods and fresh flowers must be entered by Wednesday, but need not be in place until Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m.
All other articles must be in the pavilion by Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. the week of the Fair.
No late entries will be judged.
Livestock in Open Class - MUST be registered by August 15th.
Cattle must be in place by Wednesday at 12 p.m. the week of fair. Other livestock, poultry and rabbits must be in place by Wednesday at 6 p.m. the week of fair.
What can you enter?
Just about anything >> Baked goods, barley, beer, ceramics, chickens, a collection, crocheting, dried fruits or herbs, ducks, flowers, hay, home canning, house plants, knitting, leather craft, macramé, needlework, painting, sewing, soap making, sewing, taking pictures, vegetables, wheat, wine.
What can kids enter in the "Kid's Corner"?
Cookies, candy, cake that they baked. A holiday decoration, a garden vegetable, a house plant, a sewing project, a collection or an object of art made from recycled materials. Don’t forget about the coloring contest!!
Where and When do I pick up my premium money?
AFTER JUDGING IS COMPLETED on Thursday AND ALL Exhibits HAVE BEEN ARRANGED AND READY FOR PUBLIC VIEWING. PREMIUM TIMES WILL BE ANNOUCED AND POSTED.
ALL OPEN CLASS EXHIBITORS MAY THEN GO TO THE FAIR OFFICE DURING THE PAYOUT TIMES THAT ARE POSTED. YOUR PREMIUM CASH MONEY WILL BE ADDED UP AND READY FOR YOU TO SIGN FOR IT.
NO PREMIUM CHECKS WILL BE MAILED!
IF PREMIUMS ARE NOT PICKED UP DURING THE FAIR, ALL MONEY WILL BE FORFEITED BACK TO THE SHERMAN CO. FAIR.
KIDS 12 YEARS AND UNDER NEED TO BRING A PARENT WITH THEM TO GET PREMIUM CASH MONEY.
